THOR anchor is the newest product of its kind on the market. It is designed to be used on all types of seabed as well as in difficult weather conditions, since it is made of quality materials of highest standards that provide its solidness and durability.
THOR anchor demonstrates its excellence on a sandy, silty sea bottom, overgrown with seagrass, where majority of difficulties in anchoring occur. All anchor parts function in unison to achieve as much efficiency as possible. Semicircular roll bar and heavy weight in anchor tip always set the anchor in the correct operating position, which enables fast and deep penetration into the seabed. Great emphasis is given to a larger anchor surface that ensures that the anchor holds strong and does not plough in silt. In combination with side-wings, the anchor is not pulled out when the wind changes, just on the contrary; it digs itself into the seabed even deeper.

We the sea sailors unanimously believe that anchoring in intact gulfs is the most beautiful part of vacation. Yet we all have already faced a difficulty of wether an anchor grasped the seabed or not and so we rather put our bets on the weight of an anchor chain and dropped it to a larger length. Nevertheless, a doubt still remains and invades our sleep all night long. Sudden unvafourable weather conditions in combination with an inappropriate anchor can change all that into a real nightmare and thus mark the whole crew for life.
Exactly these kind of difficulties with which me myself have coped with, as well as my long lasting sailing experiences, have driven me to design the anchor that was at first meant for my own usage. I have named it THOR anchor, since it subjects its construction ecxlusively to efficiency and safety of anchoring.
Development of nautical tourism has contributed to the overcrowding of majority of gulfs with various vessels during the season. Therefore, the need for efficient and safe anchor is so important. Properties of THOR anchor instil trust, safety and self-confidence to skippers and the crew. And what is most important: pleasure and quiet sleep.
